An excellent book exploring the topic of God's entrance into the the world through what we see as unusual ways. A nun with mystical experiences finds out they may be "cured" by brain surgery. Are the mystical experiences real or the result of a brain tumor? Is there a difference? Dostoevsky "suffered" a similar fate and looked forward to his convulsions for that time of insight.
