The formula for business/leadership/creativity books is typically: nugget of wisdom, 3-4 "exceptional" stories for which 100 failures could be substituted, and the author's "confessions" of failure. This book follows the mold by having enough original information for a really good article, but it is all tiresome in the midst of too many examples used to fill the pages.
