Beautiful Things That Heaven Bears, the
A good book which gets to the substance of the novel too late, and then rushes to get it all in. It is well crafted and perhaps too careful, but the story of three long-time immigrants from Africa is interesting. The main character has more substance than we get to see, but he is intriguing nevertheless.
