I don't usually include books I could not finish, but I just needed to get some credit for reading half of this book. It was a free Kindle download so I thought, hey, why not? I'm a Christian. I like to pray. I'll see what Woodeene has to say.He is writing about St. Alphonsus Liguori's prayer for five graces -- a beautiful prayer, although Koenig-Bricker's commentary practically ruins it. I don't want to hear about his friend's daughters who run up credit card debt or any number of other similar stories (he seriously needs some grounded friends) and I certainly don't need them tied into this prayer. And then his inane commentary (and yes I'm a Christian reviewing a Christin book, but this really had me angry) wouldn't pass a bad for a bad Sunday school lesson. Why am I even still writing about this? I'm not!
